Do these first

1

Set up report delivery

Tell us which email addresses should receive reports, which report types and how often — daily, weekly or monthly. Different recipients can receive different reports.

2

Confirm checkpoint names

Your buttons arrive pre-registered as Company Name 01, 02 and so on. Submit a request to rename them to match your actual locations — entrance, lobby, parking level 2 etc.

When you're ready — optional

3

Configure tours

Tours define when patrols happen and which checkpoints must be scanned. Once configured, tour-based reports show missed checkpoints, success rates and patrol patterns over time.

When submitting your tour, here is what each field means:

Tour NameA label for this patrol schedule — e.g. Night Security Tour Start / End TimeWhen the patrol period begins and ends each day Round PeriodHow often each tour must be completed — e.g. every hour means guards must scan all checkpoints once per hour ToleranceHow early or late a round can be completed — e.g. 0 minutes means exactly on time, 15 minutes allows some flexibility Days of WeekWhich days this tour schedule applies to CheckpointsWhich buttons must be scanned — list specific locations or say "All Buttons" Checkpoint RuleWhether all buttons are required or only a minimum number — affects the success percentage in reports Tour GroupOptional — combine multiple tours into one report for an overview across several schedules
4

Add incident types

Set up incident categories that appear in the Deggy app — for example Suspicious Activity, Property Damage, Medical Emergency. Personnel can log these during patrol.

5

Register employees

Register employee buttons to track patrol activity by individual. Unlocks the Downloads by Employee report. Each employee must scan their assigned button before starting a tour.

Available reports
All reports can be delivered by email on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule
We recommend completing several days of patrol activity before enabling automated reports. This ensures sufficient data for meaningful and accurate reporting from your first delivery.
